SKAGWAY, ALASKA - Bicycle Tour Guide 2012 season - You need to be 23 years or older. Public speaking and a yearn to learn and talk about the local region is a major part of the job. You need to have solid leadership qualities and you need to be organized and on time. A positive, outgoing, friendly attitude is necessary at all hours of the day. It helps to have a basic knowledge of bike mechanics. Guides will also drive the tour vans, so you should feel comfortable driving a van with a trailer. You must be committed to staying the term of your contract. You are responsible for the client's welfare and following tour procedures. Positions is based in Skagway. Starting pay is $10/hour.
